I didn't have as much time to put into exploration this week, but still not too bad.  Overall I ran 16 Radar sites and looted about 138M ISK.  I also found a 1/10 DED site, but it had already been run.  It's been a while since I've found one that was still available to run, but I'm still keeping my eyes open for them.

Weekly Tally -- 251M ISK

I was getting a little tired of posting after every run, so I'll be doing it weekly (most likely on Saturday). I'm also not going to keep track of how long it takes, since it's over multiple runs, and I'm not that interested in ISK/hour anyway.  :P

So, here we go:  251M ISK this week, 26 Radars. I'm really enjoying the Codebreaker II's. Almost every can cracks open in the first cycle. I'm also seeing fewer scanning ships and fewer ships in the sites I scan down. So, that's good. There's also more buyers for the decryptors, with more orders in Jita and Dodixie. I'm still hoping that the Collision Measurements and Engagement Plans can push back up to or past 6M sometime soon.

Just finished mastering Hacking and now I can use the Tech II codebreakers.  It's funny, just yesterday I couldn't even figure out how to install them in my ship and now today it's like they're second-nature!

I just hope I bought the right skillbook.  :P

Not too bad:  2 hours, 4 Radars, 44.1M ISK.  I also found a fifth site, but there were already two other ships in it.  Oh well.  The first site provided most of this and very early in my run.  It was rather slow after that.  That's how it goes.

Tonight's Run -- 61.9M ISK

Had a nice run tonight.  Two hours, 6 Radars and 61.9M ISK.  Most of that was in two of the sites, the others weren't so great.  And that's valued at the current prices, which I'm still hoping will improve.  (It looks like there's some big buy orders in Dodixie and Jita now, although, whether they're just hunting for bargains or will drive the prices up, I'll have to wait to see).

Just a quick one hour run tonight and only 1 Radar site.  It was worth 15.3M ISK though, which isn't bad.

It started off well enough, in fact I picked up 4 Radars in an hour for 31M, but then the second hour was dry.  So 2 hours, 4 sites, 31M.  Also saw one site that a Corax was already finishing up.

Tonight's Run -- 58.0M ISK

2 hours and 58.0M ISK from 5 Radar sites.  The Gallente decryptors have continued their slide.  Engagement Plans are now going for 5M tops (in Hek), and are at 4.5M in Jita.  Collision Measurements are also down to around 5.2M in Jita now too (they were 6M+ just a few days ago).  I think I'll hold on to mine for a bit and see if the price improves.

Slow run.  2 hours, 37.7M ISK and only 4 Radars found.  I saw a lot of scanning ships.  Herons, Magnates, Probes, Helios, Buzzards.  But no Imicuses, oddly enough.  Busy night for exploration I guess.

Tonight's Run -- 73.7M ISK

It started off slow, but turned into a good run.  1 1/2 hours and 73.7M ISK.  I hit 6 Radars and they all paid pretty well.  The Engagement Plan decryptor seems to be in a freefall price-wise.  There were buy orders above 6M a couple weeks ago, and now in Jita they're 4.5M.  I was able to unload the last several days worth of them for 5.4-5.5M elsewhere, but it looks like those orders are drying up as well.  I'll have to keep an eye on it and see what happens.

Not too bad...  9 Radar sites and 72.1M ISK in 3 hours.  Didn't have any trouble with other people in my sites either, though it would also be nice to find a greater density of good sites, I shouldn't complain much about this.  :P

Run #2 -- 53.9M ISK

It took 3 1/2 hours, but I managed to scrap together enough sites to loot 53.9M ISK.  Not one of my best runs, that's for sure.  8 Radar sites, though 3 of them were duds (just one can, and no decryptors).  I also had a guy in a Myrmidon enter a site just after I did.  There were 4 cans and we split them.  Still one of those cans had two decryptors, making it the best site of the run.

Quick Run -- 52.9M ISK

Just finished a quick, one-hour run and netted 52.9M ISK of loot.  5 Radar sites.  Saw a couple more Imicuses and one Magnate, but that was near the beginning of my run.  I think I got out in front of them.  :P

Tough Run -- 37.1M ISK

Had a tough run tonight.  Went on a 3 hour roam and only came away with 37.1M ISK from 6 Radar sites.  I found two more that were done before I could get there and a also saw a lot of Imicuses (Imici?), and a couple Herons and Magnates.  Either there was a lot of exploration going on tonight, or I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, pretty much all night.  On top of that, bad luck to roll the 4 Symbiotic Figures (the cheapest decryptor) instead of a couple of the others.

Run #2 -- 82.2M ISK

Went on a second run tonight (just over 2 hours) and had much better luck.  I found and completed 8 Radar sites and looted 82.2M ISK worth of stuff.  I also found a 1/10 that had just been completed (and the wrecks must have been salvaged) and a radar site with wrecks, which I'm not counting here. So it could have been even better.

Another slow-ish night.  2 1/2 hours and 45.7M ISK.  I found another 3/10 DED site and attempted to run it but had to bail at half structure in the third room.

That definitely slowed me down.  I only ran about half of the site and it took a while.  It's mostly frigates, but a lot of them.  I think with a better tank I could do it.  But for now, I'll stick to Radars and 1/10 DED sites.  Should make the scanning go a little faster as well.

Had a bit of a slow night, taking in just 40.7M ISK in 2 hours.  I did run my first DED site (a 1/10) and got my first C-Type drop.  Unfortunately it was just some EM Plating and not something that's in demand.  I also found a 3/10 site and was going to give it a go, but someone had already run it.

I nearly stayed entirely in Sinq Laison tonight and had another productive run.  Ran 9 Radars in 2 hours, although a few where definitely duds.  Don't know if I just had bad luck with the cans or if if someone had gotten to them right before I did.

Anyway, 66.1M ISK by my calculation (Jita buy prices + bounties), not bad.

Tonight I had my second exploration run with my Atron.  I had been doing radar sites with an Imicus previously, but my drone skills aren't very good and I wanted to see if an unbonused ship can serve as an adequate exploration vehicle.  So far, it looks like it can.  :)

It took me about two and a half hours scanning around Sinq Laison and Essence to find and run 8 Radar sites, netting about 76.8M ISK (using Jita buy prices as the reference & including bounties).  Productive run and not a bad start for the blog.  I was a little concerned I'd hit a dry spell right off the bat.

Hello New Eden

Is this thing on?  Ahem, I've been a capsuleer for not quite 3 months now.  Like many people new to this career, I was a bit overwhelmed and unsure of what I wanted to make of it all.  I tried a little mining.  It was slow and dull, but it paid the bills.  I tried signing on with a company (Federal Frieght) and helped them with some pirate problems they were having.  I also hauled some stuff around for them.  More interesting than mining, but still wasn't quite right.

I happened on exploration mostly by accident.  I didn't really think I'd like it, but gave it a try anyway.  And I was wrong.  That was about a month ago and there doesn't seem to be any turning back now.  Such freedom.  I have no masters now, whether asteroids or company agents.  I go where I want, when I want with only my wits, my guns, and my probes.  I hope you enjoy my story.
